Jared Nicholson is a cinematographer, editor and director based in Adelaide, working across commercial, factual television and documentary film.

For over a decade he's shot campaigns for national brands, organisations and agencies, and worked as a shooting-producer across some of Australia's biggest reality and factual series — Australian Survivor, My Kitchen Rules & Australia's Sleep Revolution with Dr Michael Mosley — as well as cinematographer and editor credits on the TV hour documentaries Ballkids (Netflix) and Stackorama! (ABC).

His directorial debut, Aftermath, co-directed with Ben Lawrence, premieres at the Adelaide Film Festival in 2026.

He works comfortably as a single operator or across large multi-crew productions, and is just as invested in a thirty-second brand spot as he is in a feature film.
